Van der Valk Hotel Paris CDG Airport
Since its opening in 1992, this upscale property with 390 rooms has established itself as an iconic address in the Paris-Charles de Gaulle airport area. Its distinctive architecture, designed by the renowned architect Helmut Jahn, features a vast, light-filled atrium and flexible spaces, making it as functional as it is spectacular—a transit hub that has become a cornerstone.
Today, a new chapter begins. The hotel enters a new era under the Van der Valk banner, a Dutch family group founded in 1929. For four generations, this independent company has cultivated a generous vision of hospitality: sincere, warm, and accessible to all travelers. Present in over 100 destinations across Europe, Van der Valk is gradually weaving its story in France while staying true to its pioneering spirit.
Its emblem? A toucan. An unexpected, colorful bird chosen in the 1950s by Martinus Van der Valk after acquiring an ornithological zoo. Fascinated by the vibrancy and elegance of this tropical bird, he saw it as a symbol of travel, freedom, and joy. Since then, the toucan has accompanied every opening, symbolizing a promise of escape and continuity.
Van der Valk Paris CDG Airport is more than a hotel: it is a bridge between cultures, continents, and individual stories. A stopover where you are cared for with the spirit of a family home.
